All About Mrs. Goodloe

I am originally from Romeo, Michigan, and graduated from Romeo High School.  I graduated from Oakland University in May of 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, and minors in Language Arts and Mathematics.  In 2002, I finished my Masters Degree in The Art of Education at Marygrove College.   My husband and I currently live in Dryden with our two sons, David and Luke.  David is twelve years old and will start 7th grade this year.  Luke is ten years old and is in 5th grade this year.  They are very happy boys and I love spending time with them.

As a family, we like to be outside, go camping, watch movies, and spend time with our friends and family.  My mom, dad, twin sisters, and brother all live with their families in Macomb County and we we spend a lot of time together. 

This is my seventeenth year teaching at BFIS.  I love my job!  I enjoy working with the other teachers at BFIS and the students and parents in Ortonville.  I am very proud to be a teacher and I am proud to teach in the Brandon School District.  I feel it is one of the most important jobs in the world. 

Mrs. Goodloe's Mission

My mission is to have a positive impact on my students.  I will treat them with respect, understanding, and kindness.  I will lift my student’s self-esteem by engaging them in authentic, engaged learning.  I will give them the tools they need to succeed.

            My mission is to help my students to become productive, moral, educated citizens inside and out of the classroom.  I will support their individual needs and interests, while giving them an enjoyable perspective of education.

            My mission is to hold each and every student to high expectations.  These expectations may not be the same for every student, but every student will know they are expected to do their best, in everything they do.
